Travel Tips
We're getting married in a real holler! Here's what you need to know to make your trip smooth and enjoyable.
🚗 Getting There
The final stretch to the venue is on a gravel road. Drive slowly and watch for potholes. All-wheel drive or trucks are ideal, but regular cars can make it—just take your time!

📱 Cell Phone Service
Cell phone service is spotty (or nonexistent) in the holler. Download offline maps ahead of time, and don't rely on GPS once you're in the mountains. We recommend printing directions!

🌤️ What to Expect
- Weather: Mountain weather can be unpredictable. Bring layers and check the forecast before you head out.
- Footwear: The terrain can be uneven. Comfortable shoes are recommended (ladies, maybe skip the stilettos).
- Wildlife: You might see deer, birds, and other critters. They're friendly, but don't feed them!
- Timing: Give yourself extra travel time. The scenic route is worth it, but it takes longer than highway driving.
